How to Enable Pop-ups
To enable pop-ups in your web browser, follow these simple steps:
Google Chrome:
- Open Google Chrome and click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on “Privacy and security” in the left sidebar.
- Under the “Privacy and security” section, click on “Site settings.”
- Scroll down and click on “Pop-ups and redirects.”
- Toggle the switch to turn on or off the option to “Block” or “Allow” pop-ups.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Launch Mozilla Firefox and click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Options” from the dropdown menu.
- In the left sidebar, click on “Privacy & Security.”
- Scroll down to the “Permissions” section and find the “Block pop-up windows” option.
- Uncheck the box to disable pop-up blocking or check the box to enable it.
Microsoft Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner.
- Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on “Cookies and site permissions” in the left sidebar.
- Under the “Site permissions” section, click on “Pop-ups and redirects.”
- Toggle the switch to turn on or off the option to “Block” or “Allow” pop-ups.
Safari (Mac):
- Launch Safari and click on “Safari” in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
- Select “Preferences” from the dropdown menu.
- Go to the “Websites” tab and click on “Pop-up Windows” in the left sidebar.
- Adjust the settings to allow or block pop-ups for specific websites.
After enabling pop-ups in your browser, remember to refresh the webpage you’re trying to access to apply the changes. If you continue to experience issues with pop-ups, ensure that your browser is up-to-date and consider clearing your browser cache and cookies.
